Job Title: School Counsellor

Location: Hyderabad 
Job Type: Full-time 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

Essential: A Postgraduate degree in Psychology, preferably with a specialization in Counselling Psychology (e.g., MA/MSc in Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent Master’s degree focusing on psychological counselling). 

Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in school-based guidance and counselling. 

Roles and Responsibilities of a School Counsellor: 

• A Master’s degree in Clinical psychology or Counselling Psychology is essential. 

• Provide counselling to students facing emotional difficulties, behavioural issues, or in need of social support. 

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and detailed documentation and records of all counselling sessions and student interactions. 

• Facilitate teacher training sessions and conduct guidance classes for students on socio-emotional topics, as requested by the school. 

• Monitor and document students’ behavioural development and progress. 

• Collaborate with class teachers and parents to ensure effective counselling support for students 

• The candidate should be flexible to move to different campuses within the same city.
